Kaarlo J. Lawlor, FCCA
Kaarlo began his dance studies in Chicago and continued in Tampa, Dallas-Fort Worth, Orlando and Russia. Kaarlo has performed with Florida Ballet Theatre (Tampa), The Ballet Royal (Orlando), and Concert Ballet Theatre (Central Florida).
Kaarlo has studied with Pirkko Lawlor, Richard Sias, Edith Royal, Frank Rey, Richard Rader, Bill Martin-Viscount and Anida Sedala. He has choreographed numerous original ballets and musical theatre productions. He has taught and choreographed productions for Florida Southern College and and Theatre Winter Haven.
Kaarlo is a professional Advanced Grade VII Fellow Licentiate of the Cecchetti Method of ballet and was a national examiner for the Cecchetti Council of Americafrom 1998-2009. Kaarlo is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a BA. in communications and is also a practicing licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Mr. "Kaarlo" has always believed that quality dance instruction truly makes a difference!
